The Pulmonology department is the only one of its kind in the private sector in Central Travancore, and offers the full range of facilities to the patient with respiratory illness. In addition to the standard facilities such as asthma clinic and ICU care, the department offers ventilatory support for the severely sick and non-invasive (mask) CPAP for those who need just positive pressure support. Facilities for bronchoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic), alllergy testing, pulmonary function tests and ultrasound or CT guided biopsies are also available.
