The first phase of the hospital with 150 beds has already been commissioned on 15th March, 2000. The official inauguration was performed by the Honorable Minister of Kerala, Sri P. J. Joseph on 23rd April, 2000. The number of bed were increased in July 2001. The hospital has a management tie-up with Apollo Hospitals Group, Chennai and has already instituted procedures and best practices in all areas as is followed at the Apollo Hospital. The Century Institute of Health Sciences was started in 2002 and now caters to seven different paramedical courses. The Hospital Information System, fully integrated across all medical and administration areas is installed by GE Medical Systems IT, Hyderabad. The hospital is also equipped with Pollution Control equipment. A modern incinerator, waste burning unit, an autoclave for infected waste, plastic shredder, bio-gas plant and a complete sewage treatment plant cover the whole ambit of controlling environmental pollution. We do recognize our social commitment. So, we made a tie-up with a registered charitable trust to provide subsidized medical care to the under privileged members of our society thereby fulfilling one of our social commitments. Thus the hospital aims at overall health development of the society through its various programmes and facilities.
